COVID Vaccine Updates

COVID-19 Boosters are available for people that finished their primary course more than four months ago.  You can book these at Feilding Health Care by ringing 06 323 9696, or book at another site by visiting https://bookmyvaccine.covid19.health.nz/.  There are a number of walk in options shown on this website. Feilding Health Care will hold some walk in clinics in coming weeks,  and let you know when these are confirmed.

You now have the opportunity to protect children aged 5 to 11 against COVID-19, by being vaccinated with a child (paediatric) formulation of the Pfizer vaccine.  These can be booked by ringing 06 323 9696.  If you are unsure about the vaccine for your children, you can use this appointment time to learn more about it before you make a decision. Information about the vaccine can be found here.https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-vaccines/covid-19-vaccine-health-advice/covid-19-vaccine-and-children-information-parents-and-caregivers.

Feilding Health Care vaccination update

Feilding Health Care will be bringing back the drive through vaccination centre at Manfeild from Thursday 7 October until Sunday 10 October, 8:30am until 6:00pm each day.  Sunday’s vaccinations will be overseen by Ngā Kaitiaki o Ngāti Kauwhata with a focus on Māori Whanau.

Also, on Tuesday 12 October, the Māori Mobile Unit will be doing vaccinations at Feilding Civic Centre from 10:00am until 3:00pm.

We are aiming for to get 90 percent of the community vaccinated, so take this opportunity to get a dose if you haven’t already had one or your second dose so that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

People aren’t required to book in to the drive through, however, if you would like to book an appointment, call 06 323 9696. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for more details.
